Nestled on a pristine stretch of land less than a stone’s throw away from breaking waves, Palmco has created a little patch of paradise. In a land of lush, green, tropical plants, it takes strong roots to become Florida’s premier grower of quality palms & bamboos. Palmco is proud to draw on the experiences of four generations of Florida growers to bring our customers the best quality money can buy and the services to match.      

Palmco was established in 1984 by Mark and Ronda Dean on beautiful Pine Island - a sleepy fishing and farming community located off the West Coast of Florida. Eighteen miles long and two miles wide, the island is surrounded by protective turquoise waters that moderate temperature extremes. This fertile setting provides a long growing season that allows tropical and subtropical plants to develop to their most beautiful potential.
 
Today, Palmco raises over 20 species of the finest palms, and 14 varieties of clumping, noninvasive bamboos, ranging from the exotic and rare, to the most abundant and widely used. Every plant is nurtured to grow healthy and strong and provide the quality that landscapers demand. Palmco plants can be found at many of the most prestigious locations around Florida and neighboring states.
